Old School

I grow up  in a small community where people are simple. In the place where I used to lived has a small store where you can buy things that you need in day to day. They would also sell toys for kids, such as "bunot" that would be my term, meaning "pick a paper" then you'll match the paper to a number then if your lucky you get something fun, But the Old time favorite would be PLASTIC BALLOON. Every kid in my community knows about it. On weekend, Me and my cousins would be camping at the garden competing who makes the blows the biggest plastic balloon and don't forget the holes that pop out of nowhere. Now that I'm a mother of 4, I want to let my kids experience the things that I've done when I was in I'm youth. Probably someday, they would remember it or probably be buried somewhere in their memories.

Honestly I don't know where to buy plastic balloon in Malaysia but luckily a friend manage to send give me some. When the kids saw it, they really didn't bother what it was. But when i started blowing the plastic balloon, you can see that those tiny eyes dilated. Boom I got their attention. Everyone started to take the balloon and popping it. Then slowly they started blowing their own. Its funny how a simple toy can make this kids smile and have fun. While watching them play, it felt like I went back to my childhood years. Reminding me of the cousins and how we really had a blast.
